Editorial Standards
Sourcing
Every article on Topline is derived from one or more named primary sources. The Sources section at the foot of each story lists every outlet referenced. Where a story has cross-source coverage, we cite multiple outlets so readers can verify independently.
Accuracy
We verify key facts — names, numbers, places, dates — against the primary source before publishing. When we report on a developing story where details remain unconfirmed, we say so explicitly.
AI assistance disclosure
Some articles on this site are produced with AI assistance, particularly for ranking trending stories and drafting structured summaries. All published content is reviewed and edited by a human editor before publication. We never publish articles that have not been reviewed.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we correct it. Material corrections are noted at the bottom of the article with a timestamp. To request a correction, email us via the Contact page with the article URL and the specific issue.
Conflicts of interest
We disclose affiliate relationships in our Privacy Policy and on individual articles where products are recommended.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently of advertising. Advertisers do not preview content or have any influence over what we publish.
