These increases will impact consumers in the US, Canada, Japan and Europe. In the US, Canada and Europe, Switch 2 price increases will come into effect from 1st September, with the changes listed below:
In Japan, meanwhile, the price of the Switch 2 will increase from 49,980 to 59,980 from 25th May. The country will also see an increase in the price of the original Switch's family of consoles, as well its Nintendo Switch Online subscription, in order to "support appropriate alignment among regions".
